The opportunity to get to know Valeria Paola Ambi presented itself to me in the form of a book, written by herself “Kites from the Heart” and immediately felt that it was necessary to get to know her. I was lucky enough to meet her in my studio (I paint too) and to live with her two beautiful days experimenting with Intuitive Painting. It was a very important experience, load of empathy, which gave me the strength to believe and to have more confidence in myself.

I had an initial difficulty in accepting the proposal Valeria to participate in a workshop of Intuitive Painting, It felt like it was an activity for children, or young boys.
I was brought to give the right color to objects, to comply with the margins and the edges of the sheets and of the drawings, trying not to dirty and not get dirty with colors.
The Intuitive Painting has given me the opportunity to follow a different path than ever, that is, to exit from what was conventional, of “let me go”, to give me the opportunity to use their hands to draw, to mix colors at will, to smell and texture, and see how, surprisingly, It was realized a work of art, my personal work of art.
